Company History

Founded by Jeannie Hyde in 1985, Jeannie Hyde Packaging, Inc. is a full line broker, manufacturers representative and distributor of packaging materials.  We sell a complete array of stock packaging materials by all of the major manufacturers, however; our specialty is mechanical design and production of custom packaging.

Jeannie Hyde earned a BA in fine art from UCLA with a minor in Mechanical Engineering.  She was recruited by one of the country's major paper manufacturers and trained as a packaging and design engineer, as well as sales service, costing, manufacturing engineering and sales.  After 10 years experience in design, sales and management, Jeannie saw an opportunity to fill a void in the packaging marketplace.  In the merger mania of the 80's many of the full line distributors were gobbled up and changed into inefficient and cumbersome giants.  By offering a truly independent source for custom packaging materials, we are able to provide the best product for the job at the most competitive cost.

	Since it's inception, Jeannie Hyde Packaging, Inc. has achieved steady growth.
	We are a preferred supplier and enjoy annual contracts with some of the nation's largest corporations.
	Jeannie Hyde Packaging, Inc. mentors and supplies entrepreneurial start-up operations, which have gone on to become very successful.
	We have been sought out by top industry manufacturers to represent their product line on the west coast.
	Jeannie Hyde is a Certified Packaging Professional by the I.O.P.P.,  a national packaging education certification organization.  She is active in the Western Packaging Association, Retail Packaging Manufacturers Association and the California Packaging Club.
